Executive Summary: 

Letters were previously tabled at Council’s meeting of the 12 December.   Some additional letters were received after that time, and are now tabled for Council’s information.

 

 

Officer’s Recommendation: 

That Council:

 

1.   Receive and note the letters tabled.

2.   Note that responses are being provided in line with Council’s earlier decisions and direction.

 

 

Body of Report:

The table below lists the additional letters received from residents/ratepayers in relation to the Mitchell MPHS Separate Charge. 

 

Through a review of correspondence, some additional letters have been identified since the last report in December.    One sought that it be tabled at the next Council meeting.

Subject:Re levy

 

Ceo and councillors,

Having recently paid our rates, we would like to register our objection to the Mitchell MPHS levy on our rate notices.  Our family had to pay this 8 times, which is totally unacceptable.  How your council could come up with such an unfair and stupid decision is beyond belief.;

  we hope we dont see any more of it in future.
